In the process of exploring the hand forged arts, Kathleen McBride discovered a connection to fire and glass first through glass fusing, then lamp/torch work, and more recently kiln casting sculptures and glass blowing. The richness and purity of color through the artistic medium of glass and its combinations along with the endless possibilities to create, allows her to "feed a hungry part of my soul."
